ATIU membership is open to the following categories. Qualifying requires payment of a one-off membership fee to the Association.
Designed for individuals enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs in translation, interpretation, or languages. Offers lower dues and networking access but usually excludes voting rights or professional directory listings.
For working practitioners who are building experience or working toward full certification, as well as those transitioning from other fields. Members possess full rights and privileges as defined by the ATIU Bylaws, except the right to vote and hold office.
Reserved for vetted professionals who hold recognized credentials, pass specific association exams, or have undergone certification training. Members at this level typically have the right to vote, hold office, and display their credentials in public directories.
Built for translation agencies, language service companies, corporate language departments, or academic institutions connected to the profession.
Open to allied professionals, retired practitioners, or individuals in related fields who support the association's goals but do not practice actively.
To qualify for membership, a person must have paid the applicable membership fee, which is a one-off payment to the Association.
